What is L2L?
"Learning how to learn is life's most important skill." ~ Tony Buzan
Learning to learn (L2L) is the generic competence that one can develop to enhance effective learning strategies adaptable for different contexts, from the educational to professional and daily-life settings. It forms the core of one's life-long learning competence.
L2L consists of five major components of competence. They are:
(a) Motivation and self-esteem
(b) Learning reflection
(c) Time management
(d) Organizing information
(e) Group learning
L2L at CBS
The fostering of students' L2L competence forms an integral part of the undergraduate education at PolyU, which aims to nurture future-ready global leaders with highly competitive edges in their professions and beyond. CBS is actively integrating the L2L components into the curricular design and assessment of subjects across different programs.
