L2L
Activities

Everything we do is practice for something greater than where we currently are.

A series of activities are systematically designed to help students understand, monitor and enhance their L2L competence.

Students will answer a questionnaire, adapted from Inspiring Guide 4L2L of Erasmus+.  They will receive a report on their strengths (4 or 5 marks) and weaknesses (3 marks or below, highlighted in yellow). If a whole dimension (column) of competence is not strong enough, it will also be highlighted in yellow for attention.  A sample is shown below.

In the table, students may review questions and their answers by clicking the question numbers.  Above all, they can read recommendations on how to make improvements and enhancements, as shown below.

In the report, a competence badge is generated to sum up a student's overall performance for quick reference.  They can compare it to another badge of their own obtained at a later stage, monitoring the development and progress of their L2L competence.  A sample is shown below.

2. Videos & Questions

To enrich their knowledge of L2L, students will watch short videos and/or short passages and answer short questions as knowledge-check and assessment.  A sample video is shown below.

3. GenAI Video Questions

This assessment aims to sharpen your edge in digital literacy by understanding the natures and ethnics of GenAI.  Instead of shunning the use of new GenAI tools, you should embrace it properly.  In particular, this assessment will enhance 2 key L2L competences: namely, your motivation and learning reflection in updating yourself with new knowledge and skills.

4. Reflective Report

Students will submit a brief, reflective report to have a self-analysis of the development of their L2L competence.  This reflective experience is useful for empowering students to be effective learners and helping them lay solid foundations for life-long learning.
